2017 to 2018 Grant Application Process

  • The City of Garland uses an annual, consolidated grant process for funding of its Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Home Investment Partnership, and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG). It relies on citizen input to decide what the specific goals, and projects and priorities should be for the upcoming grant year. Please provide your input by either:
  • Attending one of three public meetings
  • Filling out the citizen survey in either English or Spanish

Three identical information sessions will be held on the following dates for prospective applicants to learn more about the grant application process:

Citizen Survey

A survey will be provided for written comments on the consolidated plan priorities and potential use of Housing and Urban Development funds for the upcoming year.

The survey is not an application for funds. Comments regarding funding of projects will be forwarded to the appropriate service provider prior to submission of their applications for funding. A summary of all comments received will be included with applications submitted to City Council for their review. Please complete only one survey per person.

Grant Applicants - Public Service Agencies

Notice: CDBG, Home Infill and ESG Federal grant program applications will be available sometime in Februrary 2020.  The final date will be set in January 2020.
