1. My case is an active warrant. Can I still request a payment plan?

If you have an alias or bench warrant, you may be eligible for a payment plan. If you have a capias warrant, you need to resolve this warrant first before applying for a payment plan. You can submit a written request in person or by mail at 1791 W Avenue B, Garland, TX to request a court hearing and request a payment plan for your warrant cases.

2. How much will I have to pay a month?

The compliance staff (payment plan officers) evaluate your ability to pay based on your application and interview.  Each payment plan is customized to each individual.  it is our goal to have you pay off your fines as quickly as possible within your means to do so, taking into account all of your financial obligations.

3. I want to request deferred disposition or the driver safety course for my citation, but I also need time to pay.

If you are requesting deferred disposition or the driver safety course, you would need to pay those fees in full.  You may set a court hearing and make a request for either of these and ask the judge for time to pay.

4. What happens if I start a payment plan and my financial situation changes?

Contact your compliance representative and speak with them about your circumstances. Our goal is to help you be successful in satisfying your judgment and will work with you to meet that goal. If your circumstances change, we may be able to modify your payment plan or refer you to the judge for consideration.
